A talk on Blessed Mother Marianne Cope

Posted by St. Thomas More Fraternity Order of Franciscans Secular on April 28, 2011

Our fraternity minister had the honor of being part of The University of St. Thomas Lenten lecture series in Houston. The topic of the series was “Americans on the Path to Sainthood”. Our minister was asked to present Blessed Mother Marianne Cope, a member of the Sisters of St. Francis who took care of the lepers in Hawaii in the 1800s. Cope cared for them for over 30 years! Posted is the power point of the presentation: Blessed Mother Marianne Cope.
